It is a sunny September day in the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Lindsay continuously flicks the blonde locks from her face, but the wind has other plans. She is excited to share her story.
Lindsay proudly describes herself as “A single working mom of two beautiful girls. I’m 42 years old and recovering from a divorce.” Her divorce was just the tip of the iceberg when she was laid off from her job at the same time.
Choosing the right path
Lindsay turned to National Debt Relief for help after considering other options. She describes her initial plan of action, “I was at the end of my rope, and I was looking for a solution. When I started researching the benefits of debt relief, I realized that was the path I should take.” When Lindsay received a congratulatory note after graduating from the program, she felt a sense of accomplishment that she could finally move forward with the next part of her life.
Lindsay’s divorce left her owing $32,000. She worked with her debt coach to create a payment plan that worked with her budget and comfort level.
Life after debt
After coming out on the other side, Lindsay’s story includes a fiancé and a new car that she describes purchasing at “a decent interest rate.” Being debt free has also opened the door to purchasing her first home and throwing the birthday parties she feels her girls deserve.
As Lindsay laments, “A couple of years ago, I was coming out of a divorce, and I was obviously financially unstable. Three years later. I am a single, powerful working mother looking to buy my own house for the first time ever.”
Meeting her goals
Lindsay remains debt free. She relies on the budgeting skills she learned in the program to keep her finances in check. According to Lindsay, “Sounds crazy, but I feel normal. I’m a woman finally taking care of my family and it feels amazing. And I’m just so happy to know that I am financially secure, and we can move on with our lives happy, successful, and financially sound.
The financial flexibility that I now have being debt free has allowed me to put my daughter in travel soccer. It has allowed us to go to professional sporting events. It has allowed me to provide the life that they deserve. And it is all thanks to National Debt Relief.”
The future is bright
Lindsay is looking forward to the bright future she once thought would never come. Once upon a time, her debt was high, and her outlook was bleak. Now she is living her best life and reaching new milestones.
She is thankful for the people at National Debt Relief who stood beside her every step of the way. According to Lindsay, “I would recommend National Debt Relief to anyone. Like, hands down, no questions asked. Do not call anyone else.”
